We hope you had a great Spring Break and quality time spent with friends & family!
Per district communication in response to COVID-19, Douglas County School District (DCSD) facilities will be closed but learning will continue remotely.. See district communications regarding this endeavor for additional details.
Also of note, CMAS testing for the current school year “paused” per communication from the Colorado Department of Education.
Monday, March 23rd will be a teacher workday to plan for the remote learning activities to come. No student work to be completed that day.
Remote learning takes place Tuesday, March 24th through Thursday, April 16th. No School Friday April 17th as previously scheduled.
Academic Needs: Each student can access remote learning activities via their Douglas County Gmail.
Starting Tuesday, March 24th, teachers will provide daily learning activities remotely via Google Classroom or their website. They may also use a shared Google Document or email communication.
Ensure your child checks their student Gmail account, Google Classroom, and teacher websites for assignments each day.
Learning for the classes applicable that day per the schedule below:
Week 1 (Tuesday March 24th - Friday March 27th)
Evens: Tuesday, March 24th periods 2, 4, 6, and 8.
Odds: Wednesday, March 25th periods 1, 3, 5, and 7.
Evens: Thursday March 26th periods 2, 4, 6, and 8.
Odds: Friday March 27th periods 1, 3, 5, and 7
Weeks 2-4 (Monday March 30th through Friday April 17th)
Odds: Mondays periods 1, 3, 5, and 7
Evens: Tuesdays periods 2, 4, 6, and 8.
Odds: Wednesdays periods 1, 3, 5, and 7.
Evens: Thursdays periods 2, 4, 6, and 8.
All Classes: Friday April 3rd and April 10th.
No School Friday April 17th.
Ensure your child completes the learning activities assigned daily.
Teachers will remotely review students’ work.
Contact your student’s teacher via email with any questions about the assigned learning activities.
Teams may also send out communications with information specific to your child’s pod via email just as they would during the regular school day.
