3/31 Finally got the 5th squirrel!

 

 

 

Who needs a shirt when you have pants?!

The teachers have the kids do some fun creative things like scavenger hunts to keep their spirits up:)

First day of online school. Kids did great. They all sat at their computers in their room with their headphones and did their work. The younger three got to video chat with their classmates and they loved that. I heard them laughing and their friends laughing and it was awesome!Dad went back to work but he shot a squirrel before he left and I shot one in the front yard right after he left for work. But then I saw another one?!?! The tech aspect was busy for me but I'm about to open a cold one so all is well👍🙂

 Instructions for Greer's remote learning...

Last day before online school. I spent most of the day fielding tech help for teachers and the kids got their desks all set up for school tomorrow. I missed the squirrel. Denver city went on a shelter in place order. 

Look at this crazy schedule for remote learning for the middle school! 

 We played some video games. Kids built legos and snowmen outside. Played Life. I watched for the 2nd squirrel for awhile. Took a shot and missed him. Dad worked on the new kitchen table. Tomorrow is teacher work day. 

 We have a bunch of snow, so no walk for us but kids played in snow and we all played Minecraft. Painted Atticus' ceiling and now we are watching Contagion. 

 Friday- kids played in the snow. Dad got to work from home for another day. Greer FaceTimed with some friends and I did some live chats with teachers. We ate dinner together and then watched Outbreak which really freaked Max out. The district is letting teachers go back into the school for 15 minutes in groups smaller than 10 to retrieve any needed supplies. I don't think I'm going to go in. 

 Thursday. Finished scraping atticus's ceiling. Lots of snow today...close to a foot. So beautiful. Everyone is ready to build for the LEGO challenge tomorrow. 

 Wednesday. One squirrel dead and one to go. Half of Atticus room has a scraped off popcorn ceiling. We found a cool fb page with a lego build challenge everyday. Emmett tried it today and he built "Nessie the Loch Ness Monster."  Dad came home at noon. No school until April 17th for sure. We are still staying home on lockdown with dad now joining us until Tuesday. I told the kids we probably wouldn't be back at school this school year. They were disappointed. Max and Atticus are starting to get mustaches!  It was such a beautiful spring day with outside play and so much fun. Snow tomorrow..
