Sorry we haven't posted in so long.

We went to see the Taylors at the end of July. We had a great time!
Here is our attempted photo shoot of the cousins. If only you could hear what they were saying . . .
Max to Pierson, "I know what we can do to wake this kid up. . .
You just knock him upside the head.
It works every time!"
While we were back South, we also went to the cabin for a few days. As you can see from the pictures, the boys weren't too happy about going out on the boat.

But they got over it.

Max even got to ride the waverunner with dad.

Aunt Amanda took some great pictures of Atticus. He's smiling now!

We even got a short visit from some of the other cousins.

Listen to the annoying parents in the background-
especially Dad's words of wisdom.

Happy 4th of July!

I started off the day at the bike and pet parade.
Then, we had plans to go celebrate the 4th at Trip's house, but at the last minute, we realized the fireworks would be visible from our house. So, we moved the party on over.
We had so much fun together. We chased each other around in the back yard.
We played soccer and golf at the same time!
Apparently, we went to the bathroom. . .
twice.
I took him for a drive.
Then I decided to give Atticus a little attention.
And we finished the night in my room...having a slumber party.

I guess letting Max pick out which cereal he wanted was not such a good idea.
"It's not so much that I pick my nose, I just stick a finger in it while I'm sucking my thumb."
Atticus smiles in his sleep a lot, but he sleeps with his eyes open even more often. (no picture of that yet)

Atticus is one month old here.
And I am showing you my belly button. Even though there are many body parts I can point out, my favorite one is the belly button!

JuJu came for a visit!
We did so many things together. We went for wagon rides,
and we opened presents like this great frog backpack from Mrs. Betty.
Of course, the gift bag was the most fun!
We went to the children's museum and played in the cave
and the grocery store,
but the main thing I wanted to do was play basketball!

Bath Time

Atticus had his first bath.
He actually did enjoy it.
But all (and I mean ALL) of the hair on top of his head was gone after the bath.
Max now enjoys dumping a cup of bath water right on his face!

On this particular day, I decided that I not only wanted to wear my hat inside but also as many bibs as could fit around my neck!
It appears that I am over my "Bye Bye Atticus" stage. For a little while there, I kept telling my mom and dad to just put Atticus in the swing. Then, they would play with just me, but now I love to climb up on my stool and look at Atticus in the crib. When I wake up from my nap, the first thing I want to do is run into Atticus room and make sure he is still there. Then I wave at him, and say, "Hi Attigatigatigaticus." (Yes, that is how he says it.)
I even ask to hold him.
Here, I am pointing out his body parts...such as his ear.
Now, I'm trying to reach his feet to tickle him. (poor Atticus)
