This is definitely an occasion that requires a picture-her whole outfit matches!! That's what happens when she tells me to pick out her clothes.

Oh Atticus

A few years ago (when we drove in the car to get ice cream...and we got out of the car...and Atticus put his feet on the hot pavement...only to realize at that moment that he had forgotten to put any shoes on) should have been the first hint at what was to come-many school mornings with Atticus getting out of the car in the drop-off line at school...only to realize at that very moment that he had left his backpack at home.

Max just asked me to make copies of his drawings so he can sell them for $10 each. Yep. This is going to be a wake up call for him.

3 boys and a girl

Greer and Emmett are playing together. That is why the hot wheels are eating dinner at the castle table. Greer told me they are having family dinner.

Atticus

A few months ago Atticus had labs done because of recurring infections, & we got the results that he has the same immune deficiency that Emmett has. It is Selective IgA Deficiency. Part of the standard procedure with it is to see an allergist. So, last week we had his appointment & I told the dr. I couldn't think of anything he might be allergic to. Of course now that we got the results-it's all coming back to me...the handful of times he has broken out in hives...because he is allergic to cats & dogs. I had totally forgotten about our suspicions of that. So I told him the news today. "If you are around a cat or dog and start to get itchy, tell an adult do they can get you some Benadryl. And just take a break from playing with the dog or cat". He looked at me, so sad, and then his eyes filled up with tears. It was heartbreaking! My kids love dogs-and-just between you and me-we had tossed around the idea of getting a dog. Yep. It's true. But not now. Poor guy:(

Emmett.

All he wanted to do was play transformers, but there aren't many things in life that are easy for him:(
