It's our school's skate night!

Emmett has been playing with these same 2 friends at recess for the past week. So happy for him!

Love me some Maxisms:
"I heard that my new teacher has the same humor bone as my teacher from last year."
At Target: "They don't have many HALO Legos anymore. They must be out of order."

Emmett: "You can get a concussion to your mouth if you eat too much of those peppers."

A snake just slipped in through a door at school that was closing and made his way right on over into Emmett's class!😳

Another fun project

Max tested positive for strep, so we are testing the others, and Emmett is having anxiety about the throat swab-so he starts doing the sign of the cross. 😂😂😂. Since we aren't Catholic, you might wonder where he got that from...we watched lots of Olympics...and all the athletes who did the sign of the cross before they ran.

Sometimes goggles in the bath are a bad idea.

After school today, I walked up on a conversation where Emmett was obviously upset. He was talking to another girl-a kindergartener-who was also pretty fired up. I heard the girl say, "No you're not! You are lying!" And Atticus said to her, "No, it's true-he really is in 2nd grade." Emmett said, "Yeah, it's just that I'm really small and school just started so I just now started 2nd grade, so it is true." Poor guy:(. He actually kept it together pretty good-especially with the help of his bigger brother sticking up for him:)

I really don't like it when I get to church and am "surprised" by what my kids have on. Like this little get-up here. Nice dress shoes Emmett!

Thursday, I took the kids to Tiny Town then Evergreen Lake for some paddle boating, ending with some Baskin Robbins:)

 

We hadn't been to Tiny Town since Greer was 3 months old.
