This is why we love Colorado...beautiful view!

I took this picture from the window in Emmett's room. It is the park behind our house. You can see the school behind the park. That is the school where our kids will go from Pre-K through 6th Grade. I'm so glad it is so close to our house. We can walk there, and the boys can ride their bikes. I can literally see the playground from our dining room table and the deck. It's great.

This is Greer at 6 days old. I have these two pictures on the wall in her room. Atticus calls the pictures, "Happy Greer and Sad Greer."

Atticus' Birthday Party

I took Atticus to Safeway to pick out his cake. He picked out a Memorial Day cake with a "firecracker" on it.

Greer wore a party dress.

Atticus is 3!

He wanted to be a pirate for his birthday.

Atticus wanted a "sun" cake for his birthday with "Emily" the train on it. . . I tried;{

It's a busy day in the life of a Super Hero.

They have to race in the back yard.

And sometimes wear their cape backwards with a pair of pink Dora the Explorer snow boots even though it is the month of May.

Sometimes they paint...on each other's papers.

And look out of the corner of their eye to seize the opportunity to do it again.

Even superheroes have to sleep...while still wearing their cape backwards.

They might even make a paper pumpkin when it's not Halloween.

They play with trains, too.

Greer is 2 weeks!

Yes, she does appear to have red hair...and red eyebrows...and red eyelashes!
