Batman

The boys love batman, spiderman, superman, power rangers, transformers, and any other superheroes I'm forgetting. This is Max's homemade cape. It was his idea and he wore it all the time. Then JuJu sent them some real Batman capes.

Emmett's new room

Emmett has moved into the former guest room, and his old room will become the baby's room. Once again, the guy did great in his new room! We always have to get a ball pit for the boys in their new rooms. He loves the ball pit, and Max and Atticus wanted to shared some of their cars and trains so Emmett has his own in his room. He is loving it! We got a video monitor for his room, so now we can watch both boys' rooms. It's still very entertaining for us.

Atticus is still into the cow costume. Max went and got the cowboy hat, so Atticus brought the cow costume to me to put on him. Max drove them around the backyard yelling "ye-haw".

Emmett kind of walking

Today, I couldn't believe that I saw Emmett just take several steps from a toy to the couch. He did it several times throughout the rest of the day. He has shown no interest at all in walking. I'm just hoping he will be doing it all the time before he is 18 months!

Toddler Bed

First night in the bed.

Emmett moved out of the crib, and into the Toddler bed. He did great! When I put him in the bed for a nap or at night, he just lays down and goes to sleep. He's gotten up a few times at night to play, but he just gets back in the bed when he's ready. He's done great! Definitely an easy transition for him and us! I was surprised at how easy it was. He wasn't the least bit fazed by the new bed.

Pottery Class

Max is low on his fine motor skills, so the occupational therapist suggested we do some classes, so we took a Mom and Me pottery class. These 2 are definitely not into the arts. They couldn't wait to get out of there every time. Their pottery animals looked nothing like the rest of the class's. They are holding up their lizards in this picture.

Trip's Birthday Party

Our friend Trip had a Super Mario party, and Atticus refused to take off his Mario mustache.

He loved that mustache.

Notice that everyone else took theirs off.

He even ate with it still on.

And he wore it all the way home in the jeep.
