Why is it that if there is a little trash can next to a toilet, my 1st child will pick the trash can over the toilet to pee in? ...and thinks I won't notice.

Sleepy Atticus

Atticus is at that point where he will stay up until 11 pm at night if he takes a nap during the day. BUT, he still needs some kind of a small nap to make it through the day. So, it never fails that at some point in the afternoon, after realizing I haven't seen Atticus in a while, I find him asleep somewhere...usually in my bed.

Once again, I can't get everyone to smile for a picture. Atticus was not wanting to cooperate.

Now, Max IV is mad.

We have some friends from church who live nearby, and sometimes we take turns watching each other's kids. Riley is 7 weeks older than Emmett. Naturally, they both have something in their mouths, but Riley is a little envious of Emmett's mouthing choice.So, she took it.

Surprisingly, Emmett didn't care. He now screams and throws a fit when anyone takes ANYTHING away from him.

The boys found lots of fun things to do with the new deck supplies left in the yard.

New Deck

Our old deck was rotting, so it was time to get a new one. The most exciting part so far has been the crane that came to lift the hot tub off the deck. Unfortunately, the first crane, seen here, broke down after an hour of us watching and waiting.

The next day, a new crane came. This time it went to the front of the house. The arm went over the house and lifted the hot tub off the deck.

Then, the long awaited demolition began.
