At Home

I was playing with my puzzle, and I thought Atticus should play too. So, I gave the puzzle pieces to my mom and showed her where I wanted her to put them.
2nd outfit of the first night.

Big Brother

Max has done great with Atticus. He tries to say his name which sounds like "aaaa." He loves to give him kisses and poke his eyes, but if you try to make him hold him, he pushes him away and says "all done, all done."

Dimple

I have a dimple!!

Atticus Allen Taylor arrived at 11:59 am. He weighed 6 pounds 7 ounces and was 19 inches long. Mom and baby are doing great!

Nine and a half cm . . . almost here!!

Nice tree in the background.

Update

Well, we made it to 6 centimeters and 100% effaced and now things seemed to have slowed down. So, they just started me on pitocin and I still can't feel a thing!

Looking Good

Labor

You might remember that I went into labor with Max on his due date. Well, it is happening again with this baby. I went into labor last night (the baby's due date) . I'm at the hospital, I'm such a loser that I'm blogging while I'm in labor (thanks to the epidural). We're looking for a baby around noon, we'll keep you updated . . . Jeannie

I love my new slide!

Here I am trying out the slide for the first time.
I loved it-especially since I could use my feet to slow myself down.
But, after a delicious dinner that included blueberries that stain my face, I put on my pajamas and went for another slide.
I seemed to "fly" down the slide quite a bit faster with my pajamas on. That took a little getting used to since my feet could no longer slow me down. I now slide all day long except for the times in between when I watch many of my toys slide down the slide. That is really the most fun.

SuperMax

After my bath last night, I INSISTED on putting on as many "capes" (hooded towels and robes) as I could handle. I walked around with all 4 on my head until they fell off. Then, I put them back on again. This went on for quite a while, and I think my parents got a little tired of the game since they were actually the ones putting the "capes" back on me over and over. Thank goodness my bruises are all gone, but now I have a lovely scab on my chin from my fall at the OB/GYN office.

My new wagon!

Pale face went for a ride in the wagon...slathered in sunscreen.

It is finally warm enough outside for me to swim in the hot tub. (That sounds kind of backwards.)

Drawing

I love to draw on my magna-doodle, and I can even color in my coloring book. If you look close, you might just see I have another black eye. All I've got to say to that is . . . you should see the other kid.

This picture is significant because I am actually walking in the grass barefoot! I've come a long way.
