Oh my goodness-we just remembered the funniest story and it has to go in the blog! I think Atticus was 3 or 4 at the time. We took the kids to our local bookstore for a magic show. They began by reading a children's book to all the kids there. They had the kids come up front and sit on the floor to listen to the story which was about nicknames. It was a story about all the different pet names parents call their children ...like sweetie, honey, pumpkin etc. After they finished reading the book, they asked the kids if anyone wanted to share a special name their parents called them sometimes. Atticus hand shot straight up. They asked Atticus what special name do his parents sometimes call him...and he said "Sucka"...as in "sucker". Ahhhh. That was so funny.
