yep

Well, I've got one of those.  You know, one of those kids whose favorite show is anything on the National Geographic Channel.  Why do I call Max "one of those"?  Because I was not.  I do not get it.  I think the National Geographic Channel is for really smart people or something because just the sound of any of the narrator's voices on that channel are like nails on a chalkboard to me.  I think it reminds me of Science class as a kid.  Every Friday we watched some National Geographic Documentary and it was BORING!  So it's not that Max is strange or bizarre or weird (a word that Atticus thinks is a compliment), it's just that he is smart.  He probably actually looks forward to Science on Fridays.

I just heard Emmett shout this from the other room, "Max! Give me a wedgie!" Something is wrong with that, people.

The face of time-out

There isn't a single thing about this whole get-up that matches. Not a single thing. Well, actually, the bruise on her forehead does kind of blend in with the purple on her shirt.

Greer has moved from her closet to Emmett's. She has 4 of his shirts on.

Emmett and one of his friends:)

Emmett? Really? Emmett?

This morning when Emmett arrived at preschool, his teacher said, "Oh look! It's popular Emmett! Everyone wants to sit by Emmett". So I say, "What?! Emmett? Friend-less, screaming Emmett?" And sure enough as I was walking back to the car after dropping him off, 2 little boys ran past me screaming that they want to sit by Emmett. Amazing! That little guy has come a long way! So proud of him:)

the ladies' man

Atticus:  Mom, when will I be grown up?
Me:  Well, technically, you are an adult at 18 when you go to college.
Atticus:  Oh!  That's when I'll be grown up!  Is that when they'll tell me how to make a baby?
Me:  *silence*

Greer pushed her little self in between the balusters, and was standing, while holding on tight, on the wrong side of the railing!  So, plastic went up!
