Max's Preschool Graduation!

The Graduation was at the park behind our house, next to his school.

This is the sister of one of Max's classmates. Atticus got to know her well over the school year and he even had some play dates with her. Hopefully, they will be in preschool together next year. They have a lot of fun together.

Thomas was our theme and all the presents he got, but he really wanted this batman cake.

And he REALLY wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese. So we did.

DISNEYLAND!!!

We decided, at the last minute...as in 5 days before we left...that we wanted to go on a family vacation and drive to Disneyland.

And there goes Greer's foot again. We had a great drive. The kids watched movies and played the Wii and were convinced we drove through Radiator Springs on our way to see Lightning McQueen in California.

We had a great hotel room. It was a suite with a King size bed and bunk beds and a fold-out couch. The kids LOVED the hotel so much they did not want to go to Disneyland. They really thought the hotel was disneyland. When we told them we were going to disneyland and staying all day until it was dark, they looked at us with such disappointment and confusion. It was raining the 1st morning when we got up to leave. So after getting everyone dressed and loaded on the stroller, we made one lap around the hotel and came right back in. It was too cold and rainy. We ate some mac & cheese for breakfast while we waited for the rain to stop.

Toy Story ride

Some friends from church were there too, so we got to hang out with them!

As you can tell, Emmett was FREAKED out on this ride, but Max and Atticus loved it!

There was a pretend t.v. in Mickey's house, and Emmett sat right down waiting for something to come on the t.v....much like he does at home.

Monsters, Inc. ride. There wasn't a line for this one, so we rode it over and over and Max and Atticus got to ride together on the same row without an adult!!

Here we all are.

I am absolutely 100% exhausted. Can you tell?

Since not one single one of us had ever been to California before, we HAD to go to the beach. It was cold and windy and Atticus took a big ol' fall into the water and it was not pretty.

On our way home, we stayed at Treasure Island in Las Vegas and watched the fireworks explode right in front of our window. Oh we had such a great time, and we CANNOT wait to go back!

These 2 have a great time together! Greer follows Emmett around until it gets on his very last nerve. He is really sweet to her, but he gets a little tired of her invading his space. Especially while he is going potty, holding on to his undies like they are dollar bills. There must be a secret undies thief here because Emmett WILL NOT pee in the potty unless his undies are in his hand. Go figure.

Greer showing a little attitude. The difference between a boy and a girl? I don't know. I know God made male and female very different, but I can't see the difference between my boy babies and my girl baby. Greer does squeal a lot....and loud! She also does not have any interest in a second of t.v. Not even a glance.

She is the only one of the kids to actually try to grab the cupcake while the candle is lit because she wanted that sugar so bad! I'm dropping the camera in this picture, while trying to take it, so I can get the cupcake away from her.

She got a taste of that icing when she grabbed the cupcake, and it was over!

She loved it!

We bought her this stroller/walker for her to put some baby dolls in, but she still prefers the trucks, cars, and balls. She threw the dolls out everytime I put one in the stroller.

That Atticus. He loves everyone. He loves to say, "Mom, I love you...all night long." He likes to be snuggled up to anyone as much as he likes to slam himself into the wall or crash onto the floor. They say he is sensory seeking. Atticus frequently hears me say, "That is too rough." He loves Greer and he loves to squeeze her and knock her over. It is a love/love relationship because he hugs her and pushes her down because he just loves her so much.
